My friend Kathleen End is such a dear, she invited me to be part of something special today. I must thank her for the wonderful opportunity of participating in the Great Lakes Constructivist Consortium 360 Learning Event.

I was asked to judge students projects today ranging from fashionable information design to young web developers and their fascination with the Pluto controversy. Another young lady described the oppression of the holocaust and how it relates to today’s world, as well as the exciting swirl of imagination from a young artist’s self portrait.
Can you believe the young minds racing in all sorts of direction, and the creativity running rampantly through the gymnasium? It was a blast, so thank you again Kathleen!
I even got to sit by two teachers while I ate lunch. They were all the way from University Lake School with two of their boys taking second place! Great job! They gave the young boys two iPod touches, but I do wish GT Creative could’ve sponsored an iPad gift for them.
As I sit here typing from my iPad, I wonder about the future of education, and how I might like to teach children with the iPad in classes some day! Wouldn’t that be nice.
I also want to thank the committee for the time they put into making this such a successful event! Can you please contact me when you have links to your videographer’s work? I would also really like to be more active next year, so keep me in mind.
